Introduction: Born in Shanghai, China.

 Resume: Studied painting during the life in South Jiangxi and North Jiangsu.

         In 1978, he entered oil department of Central Academy of Fine Arts and  taught there after graduation.

In1982 , moved to America.

In 2000, came back to China.

Position: Professor and Mentor of Doctor in art department of Tsinghua University, and the holder of Chen Danqing Art Studio
