Lin Jiawei (林嘉伟) is a passionate observer of his surroundings. With a delicate and realistic oil painting style, he captures the intimate and slow rhythm of life. Just like a private dairy, he records images of dogs, women and flowers – the elements which capture Lin's imagination. They elements are always present throughout his work, but they are more than simple objects – they are as delicate as his heart.
