Comes from Nantong, Jiangsu Province.

Resume: Entered Nankai University and studied in History Department in 1955

In 1957 he changed over to study in traditional Chinese painting department of Cntral Academy of Fine Arts and graduated in 1962.

Taught in Central Art&Design Technology Institute in 1978.

 In 1984, assigned to be the director of art department in Nankai University. Position: A member of China Artists Association

Works Style: He does well in figure painting, writing poems as well as calligraphy. Awards: Many of his works have been collected by art institutes of both domestic and abroad, more over, he has published Collective Illustration for Lu Xun’s Novels, Fan Zeng’s Works Set, Fan Zeng’s Poems, Fan Zeng’s Paintings and Calligraphies, Self-accounts of Fan Zeng, etc.
